Dexter

Hello and welcome to Dexter. So sweet, but a little shy.

This poor boy had elbow dysplasia. So he went for a much needed arthroscopy. The bad bits of elbow were removed.

Whilst this all sounds wonderful, as it often is. This is not a perfect surgery an sometimes they are seemingly worse after. It doesn’t mean the surgery wasn’t worth doing, as the long term damage caused by leaving the bad bits of elbow in, will be very panful in the future and can potentially mean the elbow is worse in the long run.

So as sad as it was to see Dexter more sore, it was likely it was the right thing to do. But they needed more help for him. So they have come for rehabillitation.

We have assesed his needs and set a program to maintain his range of movement, build the lost muscle bulk, and relieve discomfort.

We have a long road ahead, but we are pleased to say, Dexter is making good progress.

Well done Dexter and family!
