Hello and welcome to Rio. He is a super cute german Spitz.

Sadly he also developed a luxating patella. This is a common issue. He has surgery, but the recovery became complicated, so he was sent for physio.

This issue has remained an inigma and has now been sent on to a referral specialist to see what else can be done as the recovery has not been normal.

But as a physio, we set him up with a regime to help him gain confidence in using the limb and to rebuild the lost muscle bulk. He has taken to it well, but there is quite a journey for recovery ahead.
